MAXSPEC Winged Baffled Sump for Reliant Scimitar SS1 CVH

Taking your CVH SS1 on track? The only thing worse than a red flag is a red oil pressure warning light, that’s why we make this winged baffled sump.

The original sump is designed for front wheel drive applications so doesn’t cope well when pushing an SS1 to the limits, it’s especially bad on long left hand bends as the oil sloshes away from the pickup. To address this we take a brand new sump, remove the windage tray for access and insert a cage around the oil pickup with 6 viton trap doors. A 750ml wing is added to the side and the windage tray is refitted to complete the package. The new baffles improve oil control around the pickup and the increase in oil capacity helps to stabilize oil temps, prolonging the life of your engine. Optional -10AN turbo oil drain fitting (as pictured).
