All products sold by MaxSpec Engineering come with a 3 year warranty of faults/defects, commencing on the date of delivery, unless specified otherwise and/or the product is subject to any form of competitive track, race, rally or motorsport use whether timed or untimed, in which case no warranty is issued or implied.

Our warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the goods, the original purchase receipt must be provided.

In the event of a warranty claim, the buyer must notify us before returning the item for inspection. The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with returning the item, which will later be reimbursed if the claim is successful. If a warranty claim is accepted, the warranty is claimed and the remaining period ends when the solution, repair or replacement is provided.

Once we have received the part we will inspect it for defects. If any damage/failure is proven to be caused by poor materials, poor workmanship or in transit during delivery to the buyer, they will be offered a repair, replacement or refund of the original value at our discretion. However, a warranty claim will be invalid due to, but not limited to the following reasons:

• Improper use
• Incorrect installation
• Improper care and maintenance
• Part has been modified or tampered with
• Buyer cannot provide original receipt or proof of purchase
• Claim has been submitted outside of the warranty period
• In the case of turbo manifolds and exhaust systems – Inadequate turbo support, damaged or missing brackets or hangers, no exhaust flexi installed, heat wrap or ceramic coating applied, aftermarket engine mounts fitted
• MaxSpec Engineering ceases to trade 

In this event, we will work closely with the buyer to repair or replace the part at the buyers expense.
