These coolant tanks have become a popular replacement for the tried and tested, but ageing, ‘Rewpots’ that are fitted to many Scimitars. This setup converts your potentially problematic SE6/6a cooling system to a more reliable, higher pressure system. The tank provides a head of coolant above the engine and allow you to do away with the expansion/recovery tank on the inner wing.
